New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart made headlines by introducing President Donald Trump before his speech in Suffern, New York. This event took place on a Friday, attracting attention from both fans and teammates alike.
Dart, at 23 years old, stood before the crowd and started his introduction with a chant. “Big Blue Nation, it’s a pleasure to be here. I got to start this off with a ‘Go Big Blue,’” he said. The chant was followed by welcoming Trump onto the stage, marking a significant moment.
Team Reaction and Teammate Concerns
While Dart led the event smoothly, his teammate Abdul Carter expressed discontent. Carter shared a video of Dart introducing Trump on social media and conveyed his frustration. “Thought this s—t was AI, what we doing man,” Carter posted, reflecting surprise and concern over the situation.
Carter and Dart were both first-round draft picks by the Giants in 2025. Carter, from Penn State, was the No. 3 overall pick, while Dart, from Ole Miss, was the No. 25 pick after the Giants traded up to select him. Both players are pivotal to the team’s future success and demonstrated potential during their rookie seasons.
Performance and On-Field Contributions
In the previous season, Carter participated in all 17 games, recording 43 tackles, seven tackles for loss, and four sacks. He particularly excelled as the season progressed, showing his capabilities on the field.

Dart maintained a 63.7% pass completion rate, totaling 2,272 yards, with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. His rushing ability also stood out, as he rushed 86 times for 487 yards and scored nine rushing touchdowns.
