Iran has issued a warning of retaliation against the United States following strikes on Iranian missile sites and vessels by the U.S. on Monday. The Iranian foreign ministry labeled the U.S actions as a ‘gross violation’ of the precarious seven-week-old ceasefire between the two countries.
Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei emphasized that regional countries should no longer protect U.S. bases. He stated, “Undoubtedly, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not leave any act of mischief unanswered and will not hesitate in defending the country’s integrity.”
The clock cannot be turned back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer be a shield for American bases.
Khamenei further declared, “The slogans ‘Death to America’ and ‘Death to Israel’ will be the slogans of the Islamic nation and the oppressed people of the world, especially the youth.”
