President Donald Trump announced a major rally in Washington, D.C. later this month, marking the start of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration. In his post on Truth Social, Trump mentioned that the event would include guest speakers and musical performances, labeling it a “rally to end all rallies.”
Trump stated, “On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified and one of the safest cities in the world, we will present LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER!” He assured the event would be “special at every level” and emphasized the focus on engaging music and speakers rather than high-profile performers with large fees.
The DC Freedom 250 event aligns with America’s 250 celebrations, featuring the Great American State Fair. This 16-day festival, coordinated by Freedom 250, a nonprofit associated with Trump, is set for June 25 through July 10 on the National Mall.
Recently, Trump hinted at swapping a planned Freedom 250 concert with a MAGA rally after several artists withdrew. Performers such as Martina McBride, Bret Michaels, Young MC, The Commodores, and Morris Day pulled out of the event after the lineup revelation in May. Vanilla Ice, however, has confirmed his continued participation, affirming a strong commitment to the event.
Country singer Lee Greenwood will introduce Trump at the rally, performing “God Bless the U.S.A.” Opera singer Christopher Macchio will also perform, including songs like “Nessun Dorma” and “God Bless America.” Multiple military ensembles will contribute to the event, with performances from the U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own,” the Armed Forces Choir, “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band, and the Joint Armed Forces Chorus.
