Their videos often feature covers of popular songs, original tracks, and updates on Magdum’s immigration process. The members typically wear matching outfits, with Magdum participating via a green screen.
Their live performances started gaining attention, one of which was called “Throbchella presented by Air.” This event, held in Manhattan’s Bowery Ballroom, was an effort to demonstrate their legitimacy as a musical act. The band faced a challenge when Magdum’s petition for an O-1 visa, meant for individuals with extraordinary abilities, was met with a request for more evidence. To support their case, Boy Throb aims to show they are a real band with a dedicated following.
