Changes in the Justice Department Under Trump’s Tenure

Justice Department officials appointed by President Trump have implemented significant changes since his return to office. These officials have redefined the focus of major divisions and challenged established legal norms. As a result, thousands of career lawyers have either resigned or been dismissed.

Justice Correspondent Ali Rogin explored the implications of these changes by interviewing several former DOJ attorneys and leaders. They shared their perspectives on what these developments mean for the institution’s future.
