Sharon Osbourne Honors Late Husband Ozzy on Anniversary

Sharon Osbourne remembered her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne, on what would have been their 46th wedding anniversary. On Saturday, the 73-year-old shared a heartfelt message to the fans in memory of the Black Sabbath frontman, who passed away at 76 on July 22, 2025.

“Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary,” Sharon wrote, sharing a touching photo of the couple holding hands. “Instead, it is a celebration of a love that even death could not diminish. I miss your hand in mine, but I carry your love with me every step of the way. Forever my husband. Forever my heart.”

The social media post was met with a flood of supportive comments from friends and followers. Nicole Scherzinger expressed her love for Sharon. Carrie Ann Inaba shared how photos of the couple remind her of their beautiful relationship, while Amanda Kloots and Carmen Electra sent their love and support.

Sharon and Ozzy met in the early 1970s. After Ozzy left Black Sabbath in 1979, Sharon took on the role of his manager and helped him build a successful solo career. The two married in Maui, Hawaii, on July 4, 1982, and had three children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. Throughout their marriage, they faced challenges like addiction and health issues but remained devoted to each other.

Their family life and Sharon’s dedication to Ozzy became widely known through MTV’s “The Osbournes.”

In honor of her parents’ anniversary, Kelly Osbourne shared a heartfelt message to Sharon on Instagram. “Today feels different,” Kelly wrote, acknowledging the weight of the day. “This is your first wedding anniversary without Daddy by your side, and I can only imagine how heavy your heart must feel.”

Kelly reminded her mother that “love like yours doesn’t end when a life does. It changes shape.” She encouraged Sharon to see herself through her father’s eyes as resilient and loving. Kelly’s message highlighted her father’s continued presence in spirit and how family support remains strong during such moments.

A statement from the family noted that Ozzy was surrounded by love at the time of his passing. According to the Daily Mail, Ozzy wished to be buried near a lake on his 250-acre property, following a series of health challenges and a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2022.

In 2011, Ozzy expressed his hopes for a light-hearted funeral in a “Dear Ozzy” column for The Times. He wished for a celebration, featuring pranks and music that would make attendees happy, rather than a mournful event.
