Prince Harry has expressed that his main focus now lies in parenting his two young children. This was highlighted during his participation in a recent podcast episode. The appearance on the “Joe Marler Will See You Now” podcast, hosted by former rugby player Joe Marler, showcased an informal and humorous side of the Duke of Sussex.
Introducing himself, Harry stated, “Henry Albert Charles David, Duke of Sussex. Full-time dad. British Army veteran. Prince of England. Duke. But for today, I don’t know. What do you want?” Eventually, Harry decided on “Duke” as his preferred title, emphasizing the ongoing connection to his royal roots.
Kinsey Schofield, host of “Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered,” noted that Harry’s choice to use his title instead of his full name reflects the deep link he maintains with his royal identity.
Throughout the interview, Harry shared insights into his personal life and interests. He revealed that his favorite “trashy” TV show is “Love Island” and humorously commented on the American show “I Want to Marry Harry.” He jokingly mentioned missing out on participating due to scheduling conflicts.
Discussing his grooming routine, he explained, “s–t, shower, shave,” and detailed trimming his beard regularly. He humorously described his hair color as “sunset… auburn” rather than ginger.
On a serious note, Harry spoke about overcoming trauma through exercise, stating, “I mean, any form of exercise is great, especially when you’re depressed, when you’re dealing with stuff and stressed.” He emphasized moving endorphins around the body for stress relief.
The podcast, co-hosted by Jake Bhardwaj, included Harry’s friend JJ Chalmers, an Invictus Games gold medalist. They reflected on their shared experiences, noting, “It’s been weird.” Harry appeared in the U.K. recently for several charity events, including the Invictus “1 Year To Go” event in Birmingham, aiming to promote the Invictus Games scheduled for 2027.
Harry’s visit to the U.K. involved multiple charity engagements, culminating with a family meeting at Highgrove House with King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Since exiting their royal roles in 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle have aimed to find independence from the monarchy while parenting their children in California.
