Carmen Electra Discusses Dating Advice
Carmen Electra, the 54-year-old model and actress, recently shared her thoughts on dating during an interview with Playboy. Electra offered advice to men seeking the attention of middle-aged women and emphasized the importance of communication.
“We do appreciate texting or calling appropriately,” she said. “What you need to avoid is calling her and saying, ‘Hey, come meet me at a bar right now,’ when it’s midnight. That’s a huge no-no.”
She encouraged women dating post-divorce to embrace life, assuring them that being in their 40s is still young. Electra remarked on the importance of having fun and enjoying life.
Electra’s insights come from personal experience having married twice; first to Dennis Rodman in 1998 and then to musician Dave Navarro from 2003 to 2007. She expressed a preference for men to make the first move.
“I’m old-fashioned, so I prefer if the man makes the first move, although I have been known to sway the hips a little bit and bat my eyelashes,” she noted.
Regarding relationships, Electra emphasized choosing a romantic partner whom you truly enjoy being with. She shared that being with someone whose spirit and personality you love helps maintain the relationship’s vitality.
“Someone that — you just love their spirit, you love who they are as a person,” she stated.
