On Wednesday, New York’s Lincoln Center hosted the 2026 ESPY Awards, marking a triumphant return to the city after two decades in Los Angeles. This renowned event celebrates the year’s top athletes, teams, and memorable sports moments.
Marcello Hernández took on the role of host at the David H. Koch Theater, starting the evening’s festivities alongside the legendary Mike Tyson. This year’s ESPYS featured a lively performance by the Savannah Bananas, adding a unique flair to the ceremony.
Several prominent athletes and celebrities graced the red carpet. NBA star Stephen Curry attended with his wife, Ayesha. Figure skating champion Alysa Liu made an appearance, as well as Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam, who arrived with internet personality Jake Paul.
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, a symbol of excellence in the sport, attended along with skiers Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn, who were seen together, showcasing support within the sports community.
Rugby sensation Ilona Maher and basketball player Jalen Brunson, accompanied by Ali Brunson, were among those enjoying the celebrated occasion. Swimming star Gretchen Walsh also joined, alongside NFL player Myles Garrett and Olympian Chloe Kim.
