Produce Supplier Linked to Multiple Health Outbreaks

The produce supplier, Taylor Farms, is linked to an E. coli outbreak in onions and a prior cyclosporiasis outbreak in salad mixes. Workers at a field in Guanajuato, Mexico, packed lettuce for the company in 2008.

Reportedly, Taylor Farms supplied shredded lettuce to Taco Bell, which is now connected to a current cyclosporiasis outbreak affecting at least five states. Various outbreaks have been traced to this firm in the past.
