Despite expressing concerns about China influencing elections, Trump hasn’t taken action against Xi Jinping. Trump’s contradictory views on his “friend” Xi undermine his credibility on the issue.
During the speech, Trump showed a lack of vigor. Notably absent was support from Republican leaders in Congress. Instead of unified backing, there was a silent plea for Trump to move beyond these repeated claims.
