Tropical Storm Bertha made its landfall close to New Orleans on Wednesday. As it advanced, it was projected to head towards Houston by Thursday.
Despite the storm’s trajectory focused on the Gulf Coast, significant weather disturbances are also anticipated further afield. Over 800 miles away, regions such as North Carolina and southern Virginia are expected to experience some of the storm’s most severe weather conditions.
