An Amber Alert has been issued in Missouri for Emiliona Gonzalez, a one-year-old child. Authorities report that the child was inside a vehicle stolen in St. Louis.
The theft occurred in the 800 block of S. Broadway in St. Louis on Sunday at approximately 10:40 p.m. The Missouri State Highway Patrol provided details in their alert.
The vehicle was last observed heading east on Walnut Street from Memorial Drive. Law enforcement is actively seeking Joseph Nickell, age 43, who was last spotted with Emiliona Gonzalez.
Joseph Nickell is identified as a Black male standing six feet tall. He has dark hair and a light mustache and was reportedly carrying a handgun, according to the alert.
Emiliona Gonzalez was wearing a gray onesie paired with black shorts at the time of the incident.
The vehicle involved is described as a blue Dodge Charger, model year 2015 to 2023, distinguished by two white stripes across the hood. It features an Illinois temporary registration tag with an Illinois license plate.
