The Burke Law Group, based in Texas, disclosed on Tuesday that they were contacted by the Trump administration to provide legal services for unaccompanied migrant children. Initially, the firm expressed interest in obtaining a portion of the $150 million contract. However, they opted to withdraw from the process, as mentioned in their social media post.
“We decided to fill a gap in legal services,” the firm’s statement read, expressing their initial intentions for the opportunity.
