In July, Sen. Jon Husted submitted his latest campaign finance report, revealing a campaign fund exceeding $6 million. However, these funds are not allocated for his current race against Democrat Sherrod Brown. Instead, this amount represents the remaining balance in Husted’s account, initially established for his long-standing aspiration to become governor.
The upcoming Senate race between Husted and Brown promises to be one of the most expensive contests this year, with both sides preparing vigorously for the electoral battle.
