Tragic Domestic Incident in Frankfort: Child’s Death and Mother’s Injuries

Frankfort police have reported a tragic incident involving the death of a 2-year-old child in a domestic-related situation. The child was found unresponsive in a home located on the 22700 block of Brook Stone Court in Frankfort. Emergency workers responded to a call at 4:04 p.m. on Tuesday, where CPR was administered before the child was taken to a hospital. Despite efforts, the child was later pronounced dead.

Officials have indicated that the child died in what appears to be a domestic-related homicide. Police also found the child’s mother in the home, attempting self-harm. She was transported to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
