President Donald Trump descended from Air Force One on August 16, 2026, at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. This marked a new phase in his campaign efforts, with Securing American Greatness, a nonprofit linked to his super PAC MAGA Inc., launching its first general election advertisements.
The ad campaign is significant, involving a national ad purchase. Political intelligence firm AdImpact reports the group has invested nearly $995,000 since the start of the campaign on Wednesday. These ads highlight Trump and his policy initiatives prominently.
In one advertisement, Trump ally and UFC President Dana White commends Trump, followed by clips from a State of the Union address earlier in the year. This 30-second advertisement is accompanied by various videos depicting Trump.
Another ad features Trump discussing the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which includes no taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security. In addition, Trump mentions the reduced egg prices, strategies to decrease prescription drug costs, and plans requiring major companies to cover their own energy expenses. “He’s fighting for you every day. Help him finish the job,” states the narrator.
This advertising initiative comes amid concerns from some Republicans about Trump’s financial commitment to defending the party’s limited congressional majority. Despite these concerns, Trump has indicated a willingness to ramp up spending in the lead-up to the midterm elections.
Last month, MAGA Inc allocated over $827,000 in support of Sen. Darline Graham in her South Carolina primary runoff. At a campaign rally for Graham, Trump remarked, “I’ve raised close to $850 million, and I’ll be using a significant portion for Republican candidates I endorse.”
