During an interview with Outkick and Fox News host Tomi Lahren, Aikins commented on El-Sayed’s repeated attacks. She humored the idea of confronting him directly but acknowledged it would lead to trouble, opting instead to ‘go with the flow’.
El-Sayed stirred controversy with comments during his appearance on ‘The Allen Analysis Show,’ criticizing Vice President Vance and his family. Aikins responded, highlighting Vance’s achievements and describing the remarks as driven by jealousy. She stressed her son’s positive qualities, dismissing the criticisms as meritless.
El-Sayed’s comments included divisive remarks about Vance’s children and their biracial heritage, suggesting conflict between Vance’s political stance and his children’s identities. He implied Vance’s children might grow to counter their father’s political beliefs.
The candidate further suggested Second Lady Usha Vance should leave her husband. His remarks followed Vance’s criticism of El-Sayed’s adherence to Sharia law. Vice President Vance addressed El-Sayed’s comments during a rally supporting GOP Senate nominee Mike Rogers, urging El-Sayed to keep his wife’s name out of the discourse.
