Simon Le Bon, a member of the iconic British band Duran Duran, chose sunny European beaches for his vacation alongside his wife, Yasmin. Their serene beach day in Sardinia captured a relaxed vibe, with Simon, 67, sporting red swim shorts with a white V-neck T-shirt, alternating between wearing it and letting it drape around his neck.
His wife, Yasmin, 61, was photographed in a classic black bikini, highlighting her effortless beach style. Photos showed the couple enjoying the coastline stroll, cooling off with ocean dips, and spending leisurely moments on a yacht with friends. Yasmin’s day included sunbathing with companions, while Simon took the helm on the boat.
The couple’s relationship dates back to 1984 when Simon noticed Yasmin’s photograph in a portfolio, leading him to reach out and invite her to a film premiere. Their friendship evolved into romance in Paris the following year, culminating in their marriage in December 1985.
Reflecting on their enduring bond, Simon shared with Daily Mirror in 2010 his admiration for Yasmin, who he described as fun, beautiful, and a constant source of laughter, underlining his commitment to lifelong marriage.
Simon’s fame stems from his role as Duran Duran’s lead vocalist, joining Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor, and Andy Taylor to form the band in 1978. The group shot to international acclaim with their 1982 album “Rio,” featuring hits like “Hungry Like the Wolf” and “Save a Prayer.”
Renowned for their musical contributions, the band has earned multiple prestigious awards, including two Grammy Awards, two BRIT Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Simon and the band continue to produce music, such as their song “Free To Love” released in 2026, with Simon expressing enthusiasm for their creative process.
