Victor Marx, Colorado’s Republican gubernatorial nominee and a former Marine, shared a startling account of a demonic encounter. In a 2020 podcast episode, Marx claimed to have met Satan through a person. This revelation was initially reported by Talking Points Memo.
According to Marx, the incident occurred while he was praying for a girl in a high-security youth prison in Texas. During this moment, he said the girl started manifesting a demon, a situation he described as “real” enough to cause others nearby to retreat in fear. “This demon … just really manifested pretty nasty,” Marx recalled, adding that upon asking the demon’s name, it responded with “I am Satan.” Marx emphasized the sincerity of his account, stating, “If you think I’m joking, I’m not.”
Despite describing the girl as “just adorable,” Marx claimed he could sense demonic presence within her. The demon reportedly said, “I guess you’re going to say I’m possessed,” to which Marx responded with laughter, suggesting the demon’s presence was obvious. He noted, “I just snickered, which makes the devil mad.”
Victor Marx founded All Things Possible Ministries, a Christian organization focused on freeing captives spiritually, emotionally, and physically, according to its website.

After winning the GOP gubernatorial nomination, Marx captured media attention by forming an all-Marine ticket. He believes this team, with “steely spines,” can counteract the democratic socialist movement gaining traction nationwide. Marx and his running mate, retired Marine Col. George Markert, position themselves as political outsiders capable of maintaining discipline and accountability.
Marx is campaigning on issues such as public safety, social conservatism, and tackling high living costs. His bid comes as democratic socialist Melat Kiros achieved a notable primary victory against incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado.
Facing Marx is Democrat Phil Weiser, the current attorney general of Colorado. Weiser is favored to succeed term-limited Democratic Governor Jared Polis.
