Police are investigating a tragic incident at Trader Joe’s located at West 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles. On Thursday afternoon, a car accident in the parking lot resulted in the death of one person and injuries to four others.

The Los Angeles Fire Department received a call at 1:21 p.m. about a vehicle crashing into a security stand at the mentioned location. Upon arrival, they found one person dead and four others who needed medical attention. The injured were taken to a hospital for further treatment.
Driver Information
The Los Angeles Police Department has identified the driver as a woman in her 80s. They are conducting an investigation into the collision. Footage from KTM’s helicopter showed paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department attending to the wounded.
Scene Description
At the scene, a white canopy was erected over the deceased person. A white sedan, visibly damaged at the front, was wedged against a partially crushed structure. Firefighters assisted an elderly woman by wheeling her in a wheelchair.
As of now, the identity of the deceased and the reason for the accident remain undisclosed.
