Trippin’ Billies Tribute Band Concert
Since the mid-1990s, Trippin’ Billies has earned a reputation as a leading Dave Matthews Band tribute group in the United States. They will be headlining at 6 p.m. on Friday at Gabis Arboretum, 450 West 100 North in Valparaiso, as part of the Acorn Concert Series organized by Purdue Northwest.

Griffith’s 17th Annual Rock ‘n’ Rail Festival
The Rock ‘n’ Rail Festival in Griffith spans two city blocks, offering a family-friendly experience during its extended weekend. Starting Thursday, the event features live music stages, vendor booths, food, and games along Broad Street, operating daily from 2 p.m. to midnight and concluding on Sunday night.

Hesston Steam Museum, managed by the LaPorte County Historical Steam Society, hosts the 65th Annual Labor Day Weekend Steam and Power Show from Friday to Monday in the Hesston area, located at 1201 E. 1000 N. in LaPorte.
Visitors can enjoy attractions such as “Doc’s Soda Shop,” antique farm machinery displays, train rides on vintage railroad tracks, and festival food vendors. Admission is $10, with an added fee for train rides. Children under age 13 enter for free. Whiting’s Summer with the Symphony Concert
Whiting’s Summer with the Symphony concert series continues its tradition, celebrating the city’s dedication to the arts.
