In 2011, Richard Kyte noticed two colleagues becoming more isolated. To combat this, he proposed they meet every Wednesday at 6:30 am for breakfast. They met at a café just five blocks from Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This small gathering helped address isolation and fostered a sense of community.
