The match was decided when Dakorien Moore, a wide receiver, caught a 62-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Dante Moore. This crucial play secured the Ducks’ victory, ending the game at 34-27. Oregon’s impressive home winning streak against nonconference teams now extends to 39 games, the longest active streak nationwide.

Dante Moore, Oregon’s quarterback, played a pivotal role by delivering key passes during the game at Autzen Stadium, Eugene, Oregon. Boise State’s quarterback Maddux Madsen also made a strong showing, with 181 passing yards and three touchdowns. Madsen’s performance builds on his stats from last season, where he threw for 2,334 yards and 18 touchdowns. Boise State has joined the reorganized Pac-12 Conference this year following a 9-5 season in the Mountain West.
Boise State started the game with a strong 11-play drive that concluded with a 13-yard scoring pass from Madsen to Cam Bates. Oregon responded in the second quarter as Jordon Davison tied the game with a 1-yard dive. After a mishap by Evan Stewart allowed Boise State to recover the ball, Sire Gaines scored with a 37-yard reception, restoring Boise State’s lead. Canaan Moore further pushed the advantage with a 29-yard field goal just before halftime. Yet, with only 19 seconds remaining in the first half, Dante Moore narrowed the deficit by connecting with Jamari Johnson on a 27-yard pass.

In the third quarter, Gage Hurych kicked a 26-yard field goal which helped Oregon take the lead. Jeremiah McClellan’s 8-yard touchdown reception further supported the Ducks’ position. Despite this, Boise State equalized again with a 7-yard scoring pass from Madsen to Matt Wagner. In the fourth quarter, both teams exchanged field goals, with Oregon’s Hurych and Boise State’s Canaan Moore scoring. The game’s final decisive moment came with Dakorien Moore’s touchdown, securing Oregon’s victory.
Looking ahead, Oregon will travel to Stillwater next week to play against Oklahoma State. Meanwhile, Boise State will compete against Memphis in their next game.
