Brooke Hogan has issued a warning to her family, indicating she has evidence to back her claims during an ongoing family dispute. The 38-year-old daughter of the late wrestling icon has responded to her mother, Linda Hogan, who publicly criticized Brooke for their long-standing estrangement.
Brooke shared a screenshot of her mother’s Facebook post from August 30 on her Instagram Story, saying, “This close to breaking out some screenshots – which are ONE of the many reasons WHY.” She added, “I don’t take CONSTANTLY dragging my name through the mud lightly. The selective amnesia isn’t gonna work.” Brooke concluded the message with the words: “Final warning.”
Linda Hogan had posted old family photos on Facebook, lamenting her fractured relationship with Brooke. Linda expressed, “I posted these wonderful photos of Brooke, my daughter with me and my ex-husband, her father, and my mom and dad and really… the whole family! Brooke is loved.” She continued, “We feel hurt every day that she just tosses us aside… like trash.”
Brooke’s response suggested she remembers their family history differently and may make private communications public if criticism persists.
This exchange marks another chapter in a public family rift that has unfolded over years. Brooke, her parents Hulk and Linda, and her younger brother Nick Hogan first gained fame on VH1’s “Hogan Knows Best,” which started in 2005. The show documented Hulk Hogan’s life and Brooke’s budding music career while highlighting his protective stance toward his daughter.
In 2007, Linda filed for divorce from Hulk after over two decades of marriage, finalized in 2009. Brooke later became estranged from both parents, asserting that her reasons for disconnecting from each were distinct.
On March 27, 2025, Brooke addressed the family rift directly on Instagram, clarifying that she had not chosen one parent over the other. She wrote, “No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother.” Brooke also made serious allegations, claiming she faced verbal and mental abuse since childhood, sometimes even physical.
Brooke further revealed she had been misled and manipulated into defending poor behavior publicly. “I’ve been asked to defend poor behavior to the public and have done so out of love. Only to find I was misinformed, manipulated, and lied to,” she wrote. “I’ve longed for a normal family, but it never came to fruition. I’ve repeatedly held my hand out to help them, only to have them pull me into the darkness with them.”
Brooke acknowledged this as the reason for setting boundaries that led to her “no contact” decision.
The media attention around Brooke’s statement followed Linda’s public discussion of the family’s troubles in March 2025.
After Hulk Hogan’s passing on July 24, 2025, their family disputes gained renewed attention. Hulk, born Terry Bollea, died at age 71 from cardiac arrest. Despite being estranged, Brooke expressed her enduring love for him in a Fox News Digital interview, stating, “I’m honest with him now, and I talk to him all the time, even if that seems like I’m a cuckoo bird.” She added, “I am the daughter that wanted to save him.”
In her conversation with Fox News Digital, Brooke stressed that her strained relationship with her father was not due to siding with her mother.
