Las Vegas – Roxanne Perez seized her chance during Triplemania 34 in Las Vegas on Friday night, earning the No. 1 contender spot for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Perez’s victory over WWE star Nattie and AAA competitors La Hiedra and Faby Apache sets her up for a shot at the championship at Worlds Collide.
The title, held by current champion Flammer or challenger La Catalina, will be decided in Mexico City during Night 2. Perez faced formidable opponents, including a brief alliance against her at the match’s start, leading to her being tossed from the ring.

Flammer attempted to aid La Hiedra; however, Perez turned things around, pushing La Hiedra into Flammer and performing her signature move, Pop Rox, to pin La Hiedra for the win. La Hiedra and Flammer exchanged tense words following the match.
Perez now heads to Worlds Collide at month’s end to vie for the championship she has long sought. Flammer watched the unfolding events at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Before the match, Perez shared her thoughts with OutKick Dropkick, acknowledging the challenge ahead. “It’s definitely a big task,” she said. “I have a big opportunity right in front of me that I know I’m gonna take. I respect my competitors; legends in their own right.” She highlighted the skills of La Hiedra with AAA, Nattie’s legacy in WWE, and Faby Apache’s influence in Lucha Libre.
Despite the pressure, Perez, known as ‘The Prodigy,’ remained confident. “I’ve gone through so much in my 10-year wrestling career. I’m not just gonna let this opportunity slip away,” she proclaimed. Perez now waits for the match between Flammer and La Catalina, eager to take on the victor.
