Law enforcement officers met an American Airlines flight at Miami International Airport after a female passenger reportedly undressed and behaved indecently during the flight.
American Airlines Flight 1779 left Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport at 9 p.m. EDT on Friday, September 11, 2025, about two hours behind schedule. The plane landed in Miami at 11:23 p.m. EDT.
While en route to Florida, flight attendants informed the cockpit of a passenger disturbance in row 9. Reports indicated that the female passenger in seat 9D had disrobed and conducted indecent acts visible to others.
The Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) logs, as reported by AirLive, confirmed the lead flight attendant reported the incident. The report mandated that American Airlines’ Integrated Operations Center be notified and law enforcement be called.
Despite the situation, the flight continued to Miami without any detours. It arrived at Gate D2 in Terminal N. Law enforcement officers were waiting at the gate, leading to the passenger being taken into custody.
