I have the opportunity to retire with full benefits after 30 years in education. However, instead of enjoying leisurely days at home, I’m back in my office as the principal of an elementary school in Phelps County. I’m entering my 31st year in this field.
This commitment is sparked by witnessing the significant progress our small school in rural Newburg is making. We are implementing an educational program that is gaining attention across Missouri. The initiative is driving positive change, and I’m not ready to leave knowing the potential impacts it holds.
