The New England Patriots will be without crucial players in their upcoming divisional game against the Miami Dolphins. Wide receiver A.J. Brown, running back TreVeyon Henderson, and offensive tackle Marcus Bryant have been ruled out.
A.J. Brown’s Setback
A.J. Brown is sidelined due to ankle and knee injuries. The wide receiver sustained an ankle injury in the season opener, which kept him on injured reserve for four games. Although Brown returned for the past two games, he will miss the Dolphins matchup. His injury occurred at Lumen Field against the Seattle Seahawks, where he tried to catch a pass and was injured in a collision with a defender.
In that game, Brown managed three catches for 26 yards before leaving the field. This is another setback for Brown, who had an uneven 2025 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Following a trade to New England, his relationship with former Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts came into question.
TreVeyon Henderson and Marcus Bryant Also Out
TreVeyon Henderson, affected by an illness, will miss his second game of the season. He already missed the season opener due to an ankle injury. Marcus Bryant had been on injured reserve but was cleared to practice. Despite his return to practice, Bryant will not play against the Dolphins.
The absence of these players against Miami highlights challenges for the Patriots’ offense in the division clash.
