During the initial days of the pandemic, my husband and I tied the knot. A nearly empty church hosted our lovely ceremony, where masks and social distancing were crucial. Our legally required witnesses and officiants stood at a distance.
We embraced technology, streaming the wedding on Zoom. Hundreds of friends and family from around the globe watched along. Despite the constraints, the occasion was genuinely lovely.
