She revealed this in an Instagram video, which shared her technique of “two small braids near each temple that are pulled back and pinned.” This method provides a subtly tightened appearance.
In an Elle interview, Hathaway was asked if the video was a deliberate response to the surgery speculation. She stated that although she wouldn’t describe it as “pointed,” there is a tendency for people to assume their beliefs are factual, even when they’re not. Hathaway usually remains silent about public speculation on her appearance.
“I prefer not to comment on these things,” she explained, referring to the increasing buzz around her looks. Hathaway questioned if her decision to share the video was the right one, wondering if she should have simply continued to live in her preferred privacy.
Expressing concern about how casually people discuss cosmetic procedures online, she emphasized that such decisions are significant. Hathaway wanted to clarify she didn’t make any such decisions, attributing her appearance to “just two braids.”
Despite dismissing rumors for now, Hathaway admitted she might consider cosmetic procedures in the future.
