At the time, Carter collaborated with investigator John Solomon. Information from sources suggested a potential surveillance operation on then-President-elect Donald Trump. Carter approached Solomon, expressing her concerns. “I believe that there are people in the FBI spying on President-elect Trump,” she told him.

Solomon, initially skeptical, began researching further. He received calls from unidentified government officials in 2017. These officials hinted at a long-standing conspiracy against Trump. Solomon shared this revelation on the podcast, mentioning an encounter that occurred after discussing unmasking American communications on Hannity’s TV show.
As Solomon pulled into his driveway, he noticed a government vehicle. Two men approached him, causing initial apprehension. Instead of arresting him, they shared crucial information. “The issue you discussed on television is far deeper,” one of them warned, highlighting a significant political strategy involving the intelligence community.
These mystery men implored Solomon to continue his investigation. Carter recounted the investigation’s impact during her discussion with Hannity, emphasizing the importance of various sources in uncovering key details.
“I had my sources together, [and] together, we were able to unravel the beginnings of what was to be the most important story in American history,” she stated.
