High Demand for Knicks Finals Tickets at Madison Square Garden

The first NBA Finals game at Madison Square Garden since 1999 is a major event. The New York Knicks are one win away from bringing home a title after a 53-year drought. They’re set to host Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs this coming Monday. Ticket prices are soaring, reflecting the historic nature of the occasion.

Knicks games command a premium, but this game sets new records. As of the latest reports, a seat in the upper sections on SeatGeek starts at $9,990, with limited options under $10,000. Meanwhile, StubHub lists the lowest priced 100-level ticket at $13,115. These costs mark the most expensive in NBA game history.

According to figures from SeatGeek reported by the New York Post, the series’ average ticket price at Madison Square Garden, covering Games 3, 4, and 6, stands at $7,149. This surpasses the previous record of $1,965 in Dallas set in 2024. Only Super Bowl LVIII, with an average cost of $10,497, had higher prices.

Adding to the excitement, President Donald Trump has announced his attendance for Monday’s game. The Knicks’ victory in Game 1 on the road has intensified ticket demand. If they secure another win in Game 2, prices could climb even higher.

A digital billboard featuring Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, emblazoned with the slogan “This Train is Not Stopping,” adorns the exterior of Madison Square Garden. This echoes the enthusiasm surrounding the Knicks as Eastern Conference champions, back in the NBA Finals after 27 years.

Game 2 is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m. ET. Fans can follow comprehensive coverage on Fox News Digital and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter for updates.
