Trump Visits Wisconsin to Support Farmers Amid Tariff Concerns

President Donald Trump visited Wisconsin, a state with significant agricultural activity, to address concerns among farmers affected by his tariff policies and rising fuel prices linked to the ongoing conflict in Iran.

In a visit to western Wisconsin, Trump aimed to bolster support for Derrick Van Orden, a Republican candidate seeking reelection in a district with mixed political leanings.

During the event, Trump promised a swift resolution to the Iran conflict. He highlighted government improvement projects, including the ‘reflecting pond,’ commended the physical fitness of male athletes, and listened while supporters praised him.

“I don’t need this, I got elected, what the hell do I have to be here for?” Trump said, addressing attendees who faced rainy weather to hear him. “I’m doing this because I like the farmer,” he added. “I could be home right now in the beautiful White House, enjoying watching somebody else on television talking.”

The visit comes as midterm elections near, specifically targeting Wisconsin’s competitive Third Congressional District. Trump’s policies have impacted farmers in the area, prompting this engagement to reaffirm their support.

Trump’s visit is part of broader efforts by the administration to support Van Orden in a close race. Earlier, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited the district, highlighting the campaign’s importance.
