Seattle Seahawks Celebrate Super Bowl Victory, Kenneth Walker Absent

The Seattle Seahawks celebrated their Super Bowl win by receiving their rings, but Kenneth Walker, the team’s MVP, was not present. Walker’s performance in Super Bowl LX was outstanding, marked by his 27 carries for 135 yards. With Zach Charbonnet out due to an ACL tear in the NFC Championship, Walker became essential for the Seahawks’ offense.

Walker joined Timmy Smith and Marcus Allen with multiple runs over 25 yards in a Super Bowl by the second quarter. Despite not scoring a touchdown, Walker’s ground game was crucial in setting up Seattle’s scoring opportunities. Jason Myers capitalized on Walker’s efforts, going 5-for-5 on field goals. Walker’s 135 rushing yards are tied for the eighth-most in Super Bowl history, far exceeding his pre-game prop of 70 yards.

The Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots 29-13, claiming their second Lombardi Trophy. Head coach Mike Macdonald and Walker celebrated this achievement with the team. Walker, however, did not attend the ring ceremony due to his commitment to the Kansas City Chiefs, where he signed a three-year, $45 million contract. Mandatory minicamp was ongoing at the University of Kansas Hospital Arrowhead Training Complex.

The championship ring showcases 50 white diamonds, marking the team’s 50th season. It features a segment of a game ball and a removable topper designed to serve as a chain pendant.
