Vice President JD Vance Accuses Democrats of Supporting Fraud

Vice President JD Vance took his anti-fraud message to Wisconsin, raising concerns about misuse and pointing to a probe initiated during Biden’s presidency as a testament to the Trump administration’s commitment to combating fraud. Speaking in Milwaukee, Vance emphasized that the focus wasn’t on policy differences, but rather on distinguishing between those who support fraudsters and those who support the people.

At an event at an airport hangar on a National Guard base, Vance addressed a crowd of several dozen, stating, “We’ve got a party that is fighting for fraud and a party that is fighting against fraud.” This sentiment echoes a broader strategy by Vance and other Republicans as the midterm elections approach, using examples of fraud to criticize Democrats.

In a time when oil prices have spiked due to renewed conflict between the United States and Iran, Vance, alongside Republican figures like Representative Tom Tiffany and Representative Derrick Van Orden, chose to focus on attacking Democratic policies rather than promoting economic strategies. Tiffany, in his remarks, called for Democrats to acknowledge and address fraud in Wisconsin, criticizing Governor Tony Evers’ efforts to withhold personal data of food-stamp recipients from federal authorities.
