Next week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit Washington, D.C., to meet President Donald Trump. He will also attend memorial services for the late Senator Lindsey Graham in D.C., Columbia, and Pickens County, South Carolina.
In a tribute to Graham on social media, Netanyahu referred to him as a “dear friend.” He emphasized that Graham understood the inseparable security of Israel and America. Netanyahu stated that Graham committed his life to defending America, fortifying the alliance, and supporting the free world.
Netanyahu expressed his grief, saying, “Israel has lost one of its greatest friends. America has lost a great patriot. I have lost a beloved friend.”
On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched Operations Epic Fury and Roaring Lion against Iran. Over recent days, U.S. Central Command executed multiple airstrikes on Iranian military targets. Concurrently, Israel’s Defense Forces responded to provocations from Hezbollah, an Iran-backed group in Lebanon.
