Shocking Murder Case Spanning Multiple States
In a disturbing case reported by authorities, a Louisiana man was charged with murdering his wife and transporting her body across state lines. Tyronne Brazille, 50, was apprehended in Memphis, Tennessee, after a traffic violation revealed the body of his wife, Lanessa Bradford, 50, in the passenger seat. She suffered a gunshot wound, according to WREG.
Shelicka Decker, a close friend of Bradford, shared insights about the victim’s intent to leave Brazille. “She had planned to disappear, leaving behind her car and belongings,” Decker explained. “She’d arranged to connect with out-of-town family for her escape.” However, investigators allege Brazille shot her during an argument in Baton Rouge’s Independence Community Park before the plan could unfold.
Unraveling a Tragic Incident
Brazille’s journey covered several states with Bradford’s body in the vehicle until his arrest in Memphis. “I have questions about those hours spent together in the car,” Decker said. “It’s unimaginable and tragic.” Decker recounted Bradford’s past revelations about Brazille’s threats, mentioning his recent violent behavior.
“He mentioned harming himself or her when parting came up,” Decker added. “Although he’d never acted on prior threats until recent months, it shocked us he killed her.” Bradford’s absence from her elementary school in Baton Rouge prompted the school to request a welfare check at her home, emphasizing her impact on the community.
Awaiting Justice
Brazille, currently held in Tennessee, faces extradition to Louisiana for a murder charge linked to Bradford’s death. “It’s a heartbreaking scenario,” Decker noted. “She was an uplifting presence for many, and our prayers go to her family and friends.” Brazille’s court appearance is scheduled, awaiting potential legal proceedings post-extradition.
