The New Orleans Saints rookie, Brock Rechsteiner, recently took center stage in a training camp brawl against the Dallas Cowboys. Rechsteiner, known for his WWE lineage as the son of Hall of Famer Scott Steiner and nephew of Rick Steiner, showcased pro wrestling moves in the clash.
The altercation occurred at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center in Metairie, La., drawing significant attention. Pat McAfee, former WWE commentator, highlighted Rechsteiner’s involvement, suggesting he should join NXT alongside his cousin Bron Breakker, another rising WWE star.
Bron Breakker is scheduled to compete against Oba Femi at the upcoming Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6. During the joint practice session on August 18 in Oxnard, Calif., another fight ensued between Cowboys linebacker Sam Williams and Saints tight end Moliki Matavao.
Despite the excitement surrounding his wrestling maneuvers, Rechsteiner faced a setback. He was suspended for six NFL games following a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. In his college career at Jacksonville State, Rechsteiner achieved remarkable stats with 53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns from 2023 to 2025.
His athletic family also includes brother Brandon Rechsteiner, a former Colorado State Rams basketball guard, who averaged 12 points per game and recently transferred to Kansas State. Brock initially joined the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted player but later signed with the New Orleans Saints.
