Born in January 1946, Dolly Parton made her debut in the entertainment industry at the Grand Ole Opry at the age of 13 in 1959. She moved to Nashville in 1960 to pursue her dream of becoming a professional country singer.

In 2023, Parton released the album Rockstar, collaborating with notable musicians like Chris Stapleton and Paul McCartney. Despite health-related show postponements in 2025, her resilience remained an inspiration.
Billboard recognized her as the No. 1 country artist of all time by 2024. Dolly Parton passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving behind a profound legacy in music, film, and philanthropy.
