Standing at 208 yards from the hole, Rose chose a six-iron. Despite the need to carry the ball over water, Rose executed a flawless shot. The ball traveled directly into the hole without touching the ground, marking a perfect hole-in-one.
Such rare feats in golf are celebrated keenly. Rose lifted his arms in triumph, mimicking the ball’s journey as it disappeared into the cup.
After this triumphant moment, Rose soon faced challenges again, as he bogeyed the Par 4 tenth. However, his stunning ace would remain a memorable highlight for years.
Earlier, Scottie Scheffler, the world number one, nearly replicated Rose’s success. Scheffler’s shot on the Par 3 second hole landed within three inches of the hole.
This season, Justin Rose secured his 13th PGA Tour victory with a dominant performance at the Farmers Insurance Open. The English golfer aims to continue building his career accomplishments in 2027.
Rose, a former FedEx Cup champion, aspires to join the European Ryder Cup team for the eighth time when the event takes place in Ireland next fall.
