On a dramatic Sunday, Moné poured tremendous effort into winning the AEW Women’s World Championship. She exploited Nightingale’s broken hand, applying her finisher, the Money Maker, to make Nightingale pass out.
The match showcased Moné starting bloodied as Nightingale struck her nose. Despite being challenged by Nightingale’s resilience with a painful smile, suplexes, and even a pounce that sent Moné into the referee, Moné persevered.

Despite the adversities, Nightingale eventually tired, and the referee ended the match, declaring Moné the winner on August 30, 2026.
This victory marks Moné’s inaugural reign as AEW Women’s World Champion, adding another credential to her AEW accomplishments, which include the TBS championship and two Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament wins.
Moné may already face her next challenger. Observing from above Wembley Stadium, Thekla made her AEW return earlier in the evening. Thekla, who lost the AEW Women’s World Championship to Nightingale at Redemption, remained absent until her recent appearance, possibly sets up a forthcoming bout with Moné at All Out in September.
