Jordan lent his voice to Chiles’ announcement video, supporting her bold decision to compete again. In her Instagram post, Chiles expressed her determination with the words, “LA 2028… WHY NOT?”

“Why again? Because the dream is still there,” Jordan narrates. “Why continue? Because there’s still more to give.”

Chiles’ Connection to Los Angeles

Chiles, 25, shares a namesake with NBA legend Michael Jordan and has strong ties to Los Angeles. She attended UCLA and successfully competed with the Bruins’ gymnastics team, achieving four NCAA championships.
