Rep. Ralph Norman, a Republican from South Carolina, expressed his support for Sen. Darline Graham in the upcoming U.S. Senate general election. In a recent post, Norman emphasized his focus on combating socialist Democrats and Republicans in Name Only (RINOs).

Norman stated, “I respect the decision of South Carolina voters, and I congratulate Senator Darline Graham on winning the Republican nomination. I will support our Republican nominee in November because defeating the Democrats and protecting our conservative values must remain the priority.”

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster appointed Graham, the sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, to the Senate following her brother’s passing in July. Graham, endorsed by former President Donald Trump, won against Norman in the special Republican U.S. Senate primary runoff.

During remarks after losing the runoff, Norman pledged to support Graham as best he could. However, he also expressed concerns about her campaign funding, noting contributions from Washington D.C. and support from figures like Lisa Murkowski.

“What I disagree with, she got all of her money from Washington D.C. The liberal PACs, Lisa Murkowski supported her. That’s concerning.”

Fox News Digital attempted to contact Graham’s campaign and Murkowski’s office for comments. However, they did not receive a response. In the general election, Dr. Annie Andrews will compete against Graham as the Democratic U.S. Senate nominee.
