On Friday night, two cars reportedly exchanged gunfire on Route 59 near Aurora Avenue. This event, according to Naperville police, took place at approximately 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of South Route 59.
Authorities received a report from a witness which allowed officers to locate the two vehicles believed to be involved. The individuals in these cars were interviewed, but no charges have been filed at this time.
The police stated, “The parties involved were known to each other and there is no threat to the public.” They also mentioned, “There is no evidence to indicate anyone was injured as a result of the shooting.”
