Late Tuesday night, two men were injured in a shooting in Miami, as reported by the police. Officers responded to an audio alert that captured the sound of gunshots on the street just before 10 p.m.
Authorities arrived at Northwest Fifth Avenue, between Sixth and Seventh streets, and discovered two victims who had been shot. Both men were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
The victims, aged between their 20s and 30s, were listed in critical condition according to Miami Fire Rescue. Police have yet to provide further updates regarding their condition.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting.
