Ella Langley’s Passion for Hunting and Music

Ella Langley, a country star with a clear vision for her dream hunt, prefers simplicity over exotic adventures. In a clip resurfaced from CMA Fest 2024, Langley shares her dream hunt would be bagging a massive white-tailed deer.

When asked to elaborate, Langley expressed a desire for a large, ‘beefy’ buck. She prefers using a rifle, likely her trusted .30-06 or .308, noting the latter has helped her take down many deer. While she jokes about the challenge of using a bow, she emphasizes the reliability of a rifle.

“A big buck with a rifle,”

This straightforward approach reflects Langley’s uncomplicated view on hunting. Recently, Langley faced predictable internet backlash when old photos of her with harvested bucks from Alabama resurfaced. Critics reacted dramatically despite the fact that Langley openly posted those photos herself.

Another video from the Porch Light Unfiltered page highlights Langley’s deep respect for hunting. In it, she describes her biggest regret: shooting the largest deer she ever targeted but failing to recover it. This happened during high school, just before taking the ACT. Eager to retrieve the deer, she moved too soon, resulting in its loss. With her father, they searched but never found it.

Langley expressed remorse, saying it haunts her due to the serious nature of taking an animal’s life. It reveals her conscientious approach to hunting beyond trophies, focusing on ethical responsibilities.

Despite the recent backlash, Langley’s dedication to both hunting and her music career remains steadfast. Her hit song, “Choosin’ Texas,” has spent a record 24 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Langley’s passion for hunting and her response to criticism underscore a resilient character. While facing internet disapproval, she continues to celebrate her love for the outdoors and her remarkable achievements in music.
