Megan Fox has taken on many roles throughout her career, most notably alongside Shia LaBeouf as Mikaela Banes in the first two Transformers films.
Fox was born on May 16, 1986, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her parents, Gloria Darlene and Franklin Thomas Fox, divorced early in her life. She began modeling and acting at 13 and moved to Los Angeles by 17. Her screen debut came alongside Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the film Holiday in the Sun in 2001.
Piling success upon success, Fox has accumulated a net worth of $8 million through her varied roles. In 2007, she first portrayed Mikaela Banes, the love interest of Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf) in Transformers, reprising this role in the 2009 sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.
Her acting ventures extend to the horror and action genres, with films like Jennifer’s Body in 2009, Rogue in 2020, and both Till Death and Midnight in the Switchgrass in 2021. Despite a strong presence in horror and action, Fox has also appeared in family-friendly films as April O’Neill in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 2014, and its 2016 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. She also took the role of Ellen Reed in the 2020 movie Think Like a Dog.
Fox shared a long personal relationship with actor Brian Austin Green, beginning in 2004 after meeting on the set of Hope & Faith. Their engagement in 2009 dissolved, only for them to reunite in June 2010. In 2015, Fox filed for divorce, yet the couple reconciled by the end of 2016. The relationship concluded in 2019, with Fox filing again for divorce in 2020. Together, they have three children: Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom, and Journey River Green.
Following the end of her marriage, Fox began a relationship with musician Machine Gun Kelly. The couple met while filming the horror movie Midnight in the Switchgrass. Their relationship became public in May 2020, and they were engaged by January 2022.
