President Donald Trump has allocated over $400 million to assist Republicans in the midterm elections. This includes $300 million already spent on advertising, voter outreach, rallies, and other activities. He communicated this commitment via a social media post, describing it as a ‘Great Honor’ on behalf of the Republican Party.
Trump’s funding comes from a super PAC called MAGA Inc. and a supporting nonprofit named Securing American Greatness. The super PAC’s financial disclosure, required by the Federal Election Commission, was due Tuesday. It details the finances up to September 30, including names of donors contributing more than $200. The nonprofit, however, does not disclose donor information.
Reports from MAGA Inc. and related super PACs show spending exceeding $244 million on outreach like text messages, phone calls, mail, and advertisements. Trump mentioned this figure accounts for ‘Election Integrity’ initiatives aimed at preventing voter fraud.
