The Yellowstone spinoff, featuring Rip (Cole Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly), continues the story following the original series. It has emerged as one of Taylor Sheridan’s notable successes. Season one debuted in May 2026 and concluded on July 3, 2026.
Fans have eagerly awaited news about new episodes, and they are now moving closer to finding out. Deadline reported that Kelly Reilly made a surprise appearance at the Paramount UK Upfronts, revealing that filming will begin in early 2027. This timeline suggests that season two could premiere in late summer or fall of 2027.
Reilly also shared that the series had an impressive 12.9 million viewers worldwide in its first week. This highlights the significant audience engagement with Sheridan’s work, which emphasizes entertainment above all else.
Dutton Ranch is not the only Yellowstone universe project in development. Sheridan is also working on another prequel series, titled 1944. Although details are scarce, it is likely that the main character will be a war veteran, with the plot focusing on defending the ranch.
